For each winter you’ll find the right tartan!
The iconic fabric of the antique Highland clans is the leitmotif of the next wintery days. And it also characterises (like White Label) the second release of the Liu Jo Autumn/Winter 2018 Accessories collection.

But with something extra: the patterns have been updated to a super contemporary fashion for a refreshing effect.
The Brit Glam world has already inspired the personality of the bags in their colours: the chequered prints are multicoloured – there is Red, Marmalade and brilliant Royal blue. But the second trend, Vibrant Winter, focuses on more reassuring colours such as Megrose, Pink and Grape Juice, alternated with Camel and Soy.
A well defined creative choice that is part of the new series of bags inspired by Milan, as already announced in the first release.

The collection is vivacious and dynamic as regards to the choice of shapes and fabrics. Alongside the mainstream theme we also find hound’s tooth cheque prints, faux sheepskin, Damask fabrics and quilted velvets. All embellished with the dearest elements in the Liu Jo world: pearls, studs, patches and faceted stones. In the name of squares and checks, there are tote bags, backpacks, belt purses and bucket bags. All part of the Brenta series. There is the all-over tartan backpack and the one with the leather flap, the tote bag almost seems lined with the same material as the scarf and is irresistible. Even the bucket bags are in micro tartan.

Faux fur characterises the Darsena series together with patches and faceted stones. The bags are “framed” or crossed by strips of leather and studs with metal closure. The shoulder bags feature chain straps. Absolutely seductive and modern.

The Ortica handbags on the other hand, proposed in the seasonal colours, are lightly embossed with intertwined handles. The Cordusio series consists of semi-structured satchels with a double, removable handle. Brera has fringes and micro studs, the shape is stiff. Loreto is the series with that perfect allure for fashionistas: the mini shoulder bags have a micro-stud pavé and are decidedly functional for those extra genially cool evenings. Lastly, Bonola includes clutches and stiff handbags, also for ceremonies, offered in several materials: first velvet then laminated and faux python with details of studs, rhinestones and pearls.

On the textile scene there is total agreement with the bags. Foulards reflect the season’s bags for an all-round look while scarves and capes don’t go unseen thanks to the application of pearls, faceted stones and embroidery. Collars are in faux fur for a more sophisticated touch.
