Mini fashion lovers, prepare yourselves! The holidays are over and it’s time to go back to school and renew the wardrobe. With sequined sweatshirts, skinny jeans and a faux leather biker jacket. Winter is long and parties are knocking at the door.

So here we have a new dressing up game for girls: choose the new items that the Liu Jo Junior Autumn Winter 2018 collection has to offer. It’s only natural! All you have to do is choose when you become more demanding as you look at pictures of your favourite stars on Instagram.

There are so many ideas but the dress, trousers, sweaters and down jacket theme travels essentially along the season’s four macro trends following a precise timeline: glitter emotion, back to glam, rock & shock, black & white.

From autumn to the coldest of winters, the outfits immediately become alive with fit & flair dresses or all-in-ones with flounced bodice. Temperatures are still within an acceptable range, T-shirts with sequins or macro pearls are perfect to wear under micro jackets with gathers and coats with golden buttons.

But back in the classroom fashion becomes more captivating. It’s not by chance that colours are brighter and we see Electric Blue and Majestic Violet. There are two items to have: the faux fur Parka jacket and the maxi sheen effect bomber. On the daily scene, jeans are high waisted, while trousers are in shiny satin with side bands – awesome! Sweatshirts are adorned with maxi letterings with sequined logo and glitter. And most important of all they’re asymmetrical.

But it’s as the temperature drops even more that outerwear becomes essential. Like the faux leather biker jacket, the laminated faux sheepskin, the down jacket with belt and the coat with cloth sleeves. Colours become fluorescent with shocking Orange and Pink. What’s new: faux leather trousers and sweatshirts in a laminated fabric.

In the last part of the year the eye is bound to fall on more frivolous and fascinating buys where Snow White and Black take centre stage. How can one resist a down coat with chequered cape on top or a down jacket in polka dot printed nylon? And that’s not to mention the two-tone biker jacket in jacquard with plain coloured sleeves. For everyday, the "A" line fleece dresses with flounces and striped applications and Lurex. The sweatshirts for everyday have a zip, hood and details in micro sequins. For parties, the tulle skirts are embroidered with sequins.

And of course we can’t forget the scarves, hats and gloves brought to life with sequins and pom-poms. And then backpacks and bags peppered with studs. So you’re really cool in class.
